My Name

When I was born, my mom named me Elissa, however she always called me Elie. She named me Elissa because she was inspired from my grandma's name, Eleanor and my aunt's name, Elizabeth. She enjoyed the name, as well. The name Elissa came from the origin Elisheba, which means oath of God, or God is satisfaction. My name is important and special to me because it shows that I am a quiet, ambitious, and helpful. My name also shows my strong beliefs, and personality/characteristics.
