Elissa Cajes, otherwise known as Elie, is a Filipino 12 year old girl at Bonita Vista Middle and is in 8th grade. She grew up in San Diego, California, but later on, she moved to Chula Vista. She lives with her mom, sister, uncle, and cousins. Once she graduates high school she would like to get accepted into UCSD or better colleges. She is not currently involved in extra curricular activities, however she used to participate in gymnastics at the YMCA. In her free time she enjoys dancing, photography and drawing.

 

During school, Elie is a hardworking student who is taking all accelerated classes, and a Career training course. She chose CTE as her elective because she found photography interesting as it is one of her hobbies. She has experienced photography through her past elective Yearbook, where she took photos at different angles and lighting. One of her goals this year for CTE are to learn how to properly take photos, understand how to create online projects, and learn more about multi media.
