I chose to photograph the genres landscape and food because I enjoy sharing the different places and food I get to experience. The thing I like the most about these type of photography genres are that I get to express the emotions that I feel with other people through my photos. I have captured many photos in this genre. I can compare that the past photos I have taken were nature and candid photos. I have grown into food and landscape photography, so I can document the places i' have been to and the food I have tasted.

        Composition Through My lens

              8/9/17

The photo to the left portrays bad composition because it is centered, the lighting is dark, and it could be fully cropped. This photo could be brightened, cropped at the edges, and follow the rule of thirds.

The photo to the right portrays good composition because it follows the rules of thirds and it is cropped. The image portrays a picture of a girl (me) holding a dandelion. It is in the genre of nature.

       Applying The Rule Of Thirds

            8/14/17

Before Applying The Rule Of Thirds: There is a big problem with this photo. Even though, the focus is on the middle, the rule of thirds is not applied.

After applying the Rule Of Thirds: I have applied the Rule Of Thirds to this photo. I cropped the photo and moved the focus point to the left.

The art of Rule Of Thirds:  I cropped the people out of the photo to create a solid background and created a vertical line that passes through my sisters had and half way down her leg.

Me My Color and I

              9/1/17

I manipulated a photo of myself standing near a solid wall, to a tropical beach. I used the quick selection tool, to crop an image of myself, and implement it into another. I also used the hue, saturation, and the text tool, to add color and a poem to the new image. The original photo portrays color and lines, while the new photo portrays shape, color, space, and texture. This assignment connects to real world industry because relates to photo shop, which is used for advertisements, magazines, and billboards.
